Dogecoin Foundation launches libdogecoin 0.1.2, a major upgrade that improves DOGE's functionalities as a self-sovereign digital currency. The update provides support for BIP39, BIP32, BIP44, and SLIP44 standards, and introduces the generation of QR codes for mobile applications. Dogecoin's growing utility is competing with Shiba Inu, but its support from mainstream brands like Elon Musk could help it outshine SHIB in the short to mid-term.

In the same vein, Shiba Inu as well introduced another coin. But I do not know why they are launching another coin instead of promoting the existing ones. People may not want to trust the foundation again because of their experience with Dogecoin.

That's right people have moved on from dogecoin terra and many other coins that had created an significant impact in the market with their work and they have made ensure that the dogecoin and terra users can now invest and show interest in their projects .

It is great to know that the days of dogecoin being ignored by its developers are in the past. Improving the coin's utility is likely to help it do well and move it from just a meme coin being pumped and dumped at will to a more solid project worth investing in.
