The phone consumes much less electricity. But at the same time, the phone cannot compete with computers, which means that it is more difficult to mine cryptocurrency. But a large number of telephones can be used. Do you think it is profitable to do this?

@oldbuddy I see your critical analysis on this topic,I also can't say for sure if you can mine profitable a coin on the phone but the form of mining that I have come to know is apps that want you to share your bandwidth with others.I think that is the only viable and realistic way. There is a catch though. One must have quite as many devices as possible with independent internet connection then they can cashout per week.
I have seen several offers to share my bandwidth, but won't take that risk. As I understand it other people can use your IP address to do who knows what. They could be surfing p0rn or even doing something illegal and you would never know until it's too late. It's not worth it for me.

Everytime cyber crime or anything related I also fear as well but I just hope they never get to expose us to fraudulant and unsecure activities.I need to find more time to understand this band width sharing and it's potential to compromise an individuals online security.

I have been using a few apps that I am sharing my band width and they keep on praising and priding themselves that our information is pretty much safe.

Yes, but certain coins such as Phoneum and Electroneum are specifically designed for the phone hardware. You can even mine Monero on your phone but the mining difficulty of Monero is so high, so this is why many people mine these kind of tokens. Some people even mine mars coin on their phones.
Have you tried to mine all of these coins that you mentioned? What is the effect on the overall productivity of the phone. If I have a spare phone I can definitely give it a try. Presently, I don't think I can mine any of these cryptocurrencies on my phone. I may try it out if you have confirmed the effect on phones.

Yes, I have tried to use certain kinds of mining applications, but not these coins specifically. I have always believed that mining these kinds of coins is a much better option once you have a really great number of phones and when you create a mining farm that consists of phones. There are many people who have created videos regarding there phone mining farms.

I have watched similar videos on how to create phone mining farms. It is very necessary to point that using the phone to mine is really not a good advice because it will amount to achieving nothing. I have used cryptotab to mine Bitcoin in the past and I achieved nothing . My phone gets hot very quickly and if care is not taken, it may destroy the phone.

It all depends on the phone. There was a guy who stated that you should buy cheaper, used smartphones in order to mine coins. Mining cryptocurrencies using Crypto tab browser on phone is not worth it until or unless you purchase their booster, as this is what a Youtuber stated. He bought many phones and created a mining farm.

Is it safe to say that you are certain you understand what you are referring to?, or did you try and do legitimate examination before posting the thread?, there's no such thing as mining in telephone, phones could try and overheat and detonate before they can mine, telephones aren't worked to mine, so what are you talking about that countless phone can be use? where did you get that data? care to post your sources? except if your simply posting whatever?, this is FALSE INFORMATION

The profitability of mining Bitcoin on a smartphone is lower than that of mining on a computer. This is due to smartphones' lower processing power compared to desktops. Therefore, mining Bitcoins on a smartphone will require more time and it is unprofitable and a waste of energy.

Well some people aren't really informed that even a normal computer will have a hard time to mine any crypto currency and will never be profitable only waste energy let alone their phones..maybe because there's apps that claims they can be use to mine crypto currency.

I just discovered that there are some crypto token that are designed to work and be mined more effectively using the mobile phones , but there are some cryptocurrency token that will not work more effectively using the the mobile phones example of such Bitcoin, Dogecoin etc.

There are but currently has no value or isn't even available to any exchange yet so im not calling them crypto currency yet. As there's no coin or token to be released yet that is available in other platforms.. it's just no different from game credits if they're not transferable to other platforms

The fact that technology is improving and the cryptocurrency development are evolving, it is quite fascinating to observe that there are crypto tokens that could be mined more effectively using the cellphones . It is indeed a wonderful program that could be adopted.

I have tried Pi Network but it's been years. People are still hopeful on it but I decided to stop and uninstalled it. So many promises unfulfilled. I also tried Bee Network, which I also removed from my phone.

There is a huge difference between real mining and those apps you normally see on the play store. Those apps you saw on play store simply is not mining. Real mining must involves mining rigs or mining machines like ASIC to be profitable. Now, mining bitcoin with CPU or video card is no more profitable

It is technically impossible to mine on a phone. The apps that are advertised are mining simulators, not real mining. If Who doubts, then try to put the miner on the phone. At least T-rex.

nothing is impossible dude|
On a phone/smartphone, it is not possible to mine cryptocurrency in the physical sense. They are not adapted for this. This is the same as trying to put on them any operating system designed for a computer.
On the phone, you can only install a mining simulator, which is usually a HYIP project.

then what is the best way to mine cryptocurrency?
Buy video cards or ASIC. But, this is for making good profits, a significant injection of cash. Video cards that are now profitable cost more than $1,000 per unit. And you need several.
If we talk about ASICs, then in general the cost of new models can start from $10K.

This can be profitable if you mine something growing, and at a high pace. In general, I think not, since phones are usually discharged quickly and thus the battery itself deteriorates. It is better to save it, its replacement will be more expensive.

Cryptocurrency is not mined on smartphones, simply because it is not designed for this. There are no necessary programs for cryptocurrency mining on the phone. It is impossible to run a batch file on a smartphone (if you know what it is). All programs that exist for mining on the phone are just emulators and they do not bring practical benefits.

I think putting too much mining load on your smart phone could actually damage it , I think there is already the availability of mining rig and that's what many miners makes use of to mine And earn more money
