I have been wanting to she comments that will be as real on transcription sites. The way the YouTubers portrayed the transcription site is definitely not the way it is.Transcribing is not an easy task. I began working as a traslator in 2000 and, at that time, the company I was in showed me how to transcribe from videos and also from tapes (or other means). Believe me, this is insanely difficult and all we get is headache. The tapes/videos presented sometimes are illegible/indecipherable in some parts and for some sites you "will have" to write down what is there. I know it sound frustrating, but it that reality they present. About this site in particular, from almost all the answers I read, what they are doing is presenting something for transcription and when you're done, they tell you that you failed. Believe me, it is not worth it!
Believe me, transcription from sites like this is not true work. They will show their work through the tests they make people go through and that is it: everyone is working for free and that is not fair to anyone of us. If you accept one advice, look for gigs like this on sites like Workana or Freelancers. I used Workana in 2017 (I can't remember well the year) as they work fine for us in South America and that was a good experience.
It is a wonderful information you have provided and it will strictly be adhered to by me. But I would like you to explain more on the gigs that you talked about.
From sites and forums, my best guess is that there is no way to make good income in few days, and that is why I treat forums, PTC or anything related to it, something I like doing to pile up coins for fun. But another way is to create a profile on sites like the ones I said and some others like Fiverr, Upwork, Rock Content, Text Broker, 99Designs and some othes and check if there is something you can do related to your skills. Mine are writing (Portuguese and Spanish languages, not in English), and in real lile I am a teacher and translator. So, I try and find sites where I could use what I do in the real world but online and I was pretty amazed there are some really good out there, like Teachers Pay Teachers, Translators Café, Proz, MyGengo and so on. Try and check them out and see if they fit you. (Sorry for the delay on this answer and hope it helps a little more.)
It is still working until now but I cannot access my account anymore. I'm wondering why. Probably I didn't open it for a long time. It's not that easy to earn there now, as others say. There are just SOME superhumans who are dishonest.
My friend too cannot access his account anymore. He did not open his account for 1 year, that's the reason I think. Superhumans are not all good. Some are dishonest, I agree. And how others can tag calls in a minute interval? I have not visited for weeks now since I moved back to Manila. Last month, they hired another sets of superhumans.
