What is not good about it?
1-You have to wait until you get 5000 points
2-Payment sometimes take long time to arrive

I know that the time to reach the payout is pretty long, especially if we miss the survey invitation. The threshold is pretty high. But I still stick to YouGov. You are paid for the time that you spend there unlike the other surveys where we disqualify the mid way and get nothing. I have reached payouts a few times. I take 9_12 months to reach the payout...not so great but I still don't mind.

 They allow VPN users to continue using their sites. If it continues like this then the site will go downward, as it will be misused rampantly by scamsters.

I participate in YouGov surveys but recently the survey invitation link has been so very rare, that the earning moves at a snail's pace

Well, allowing VPN members might pose a security threat to the site. I don't have much insight into that but it seems most sites block VPN users due to security reasons. I hope that it doesn't compromise with the security of the site.
After coming here, I checked this thread and it reminded me of checking my mail for any survey invitation. I got two since yesterday and one expired. I have completed the other one for 60 points before coming here. I need to make it a point that I keep checking my mail daily for the invitationd. I have missed threee invitations in this week.

VPN work well with the site and i'm using it, this is my second earning and its kind of fast.

Quite strange, after I made the comment on this thread, I got two survey from YouGov just today :D
yes, cuz YouGov Teams are watching this thread, so they are busy making their site a better way to earn money online from home.

I have made sure that I will check my mailbox daily at least once to not miss any invitation from them. I have got invitations from them everyday in the last three days and that makes me happy. I have crossed 600 points mark there. I was recently paid by them. I see it as a positive progress.

Seems panelists with your credentials are what YouGov is looking for.

I am not sure about that. There are times when I don't get any survey for weeks together, especially when I am inching towards the payout threshold. And that can be frustrating. One good thing about YouGov is that you are not disqualified and loose your time. They will bring another set of questions in case you are not suited for the current survey for which you were invited.

Today I received an email from Yougov where it seems to offer a new earning strategy which is presented as much faster than the usual surveys, sharing the viewing history of the programs we watch on Netflix (or other streaming platforms), the appropriate "YouGov Safe extension", to earn hundreds of points every week.

It sounds good for someone who is using Netflix. It's something extra and you don't need to put on much efforts to earn the points.

I just received a payment from YouGov lately. It took me about a year to make this redemption. :D
They paid me really quickly, almost on the spot.

I see and I am very happy for you, my friend. Can you kindly tell me just one thing please: I was kindly asking in addition to your Malaysian language, do you have English as a second language?
You have to forgive me because here in Italy we don't know any other second language besides Italian and as a result, very often we are denied surveys!
You are obviously free to think as you like but don't you think that we Italians should clarify this situation?

I found this about you gov:

Strategic move in the market research sector: YouGov acquires GfK Consumer Panel for 315 million euros

Published on January 9, 2024 by Frank

The British market and opinion research institute YouGov has acquired the consumer panel business of the German market research company GfK for a sum of 315 million euros.

GfK's Consumer Panel comprises more than 100,000 households in 16 European countries and regularly conducts surveys on purchasing behavior that provide manufacturers with important insights into consumer wishes and purchases.

This acquisition is a strategically important step for YouGov. It expands the company's offering in the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector while strengthening its presence and services for US clients. Stephan Shakespeare, CEO of YouGov, emphasized the importance of this transaction as it expands YouGov's offering in the underpenetrated FMCG sector and brings with it long-standing relationships with a blue-chip client base.

The acquisition also includes the takeover of GfK Consumer Panel's 1,100 clients and 1,100 employees. The German headquarters of the Consumer Panel will remain in Nuremberg for the time being, and the name GfK Consumer Panel will be retained for a transitional period.

This acquisition takes place against the backdrop of GfK's merger with the British-American market research company NielsenIQ in July 2023. The EU Commission had only approved the merger on condition that GfK's own market research panel was sold. As a result of this sale, GfK will lose around 15% of its annual sales, which amount to around one billion US dollars.

The acquisition of the Consumer Panel by YouGov is a major step in the market research industry and is expected to bring significant changes and opportunities for both YouGov and the panel's clients and employees.

I think it's definitely a trustworthy company that can't afford not to pay out (unless it goes bankrupt).

Legit survey site that i use regularly because they always give me surveys daily. I have withdrawn twice and looking for third
This is the first time l am getting to know about the yougov survey sites. Based on the reviews and the payment proofs that are available online, the site seems very legit. I will look for time and have a trial for the same.

There are so many surveys available daily in the platform, cashout is easy, surely reliable site
For me l really like working on the earning websites that are a little bit much easier to reach the minimum payment threshold and more especially if the same websites pay through the PayPal for that matter.
