So finally I started my new blog after many considerations. This is not my first blogging experience as I have created 2 self hosted blogs before this which shut down due to low traffic. My problem has always been traffic and perseverance. It's not difficult starting a blog but it's difficult running it.
The name of the blog is Crypto Tom so I'll be focusing on just crypto for now. I'll try to be sincere as possible. I'm not a professional anyway.

Yes you're correct. The major challenge faced by bloggers is traffic. Forget what we read online, getting results is difficult. Well what I've learnt is that one should always put in efforts till he gets results. I prefer social media because it's easier.

Yes I had some busy schedule this weekend so have not been able to update it. However I noticed that one of my old posts got some good traffic. Majority of traffic is coming from low tier countries so I'm earning less for now.

I checked your blog. And I can deduce that you built your blogs instead of buying it. I do prefer buying to building because of adsense. And if I may ask, do you make any keyword reasearch before you write your topics, if yes, what are your targeted keywords on SEO tools.

Yes I built from scratch. Buying an AdSense blog is expensive but better since AdSense is the highest paying Ad network or one of them. I just write based on trends in crypto. I'll be looking forward to doing keyword research soon but majority of traffic comes from social media especially WhatsApp, Twitter and telegram.

That's better. I don't even expect you to buy Adsense blog. I prefer expired domain. You can get your topics using Google Trend. I don't know how to use all these social media because I don't have active accounts on any of them. I guess you have accounts on these media?

Yes I have active accounts on major social media platforms. I find it easy to generate traffic. Expired domains are good, funny i didn't think about it. I'll look to learning how to create articles using Google trends and Chat gpt.

Chat GPT? I don't recommend it for new bloggers. It reduces your skill on SEO analysis. It does make such a blogger a lazy one to me. Besides, you will be needing more of paraphasing to make the article looks more original to Google

Investing time in chatGPT is little bit risky, in my opinion.
Google could penalize blog with AI articles, at least 'til its AI don't overwhelm others AI _D

That's what all bloggers need. Motivation!. It is not easy as it seems. Blogging is always beyond just writing articles. It goes to the extent of making sure that our articles get the required publicity. This to be honest, always take longer time.

Yes I get you. The only reason I employ it is just to assist with some texts only. Writing articles can be very difficult some times so one can need a little help. I realized it's difficult to rank new blogs especially if you're in a competitive niche.

I am on finance niche and we all know his difficult and competitive this niche is. But I manage to write me articles to perfect my SEO skill first. I may start using ChatGPT may be when I can easily generate traffic to the blog.

This is good and commendable. I also want to create a new website soon. Just like you, I have created two websites before that were hosted with free platform. I abaddon them when I could not drive enough traffic to it, and the free hosting and domain did not appeal to me.
If you want to create a website, create only on the niche you know about.

Creating on free hosting will always require you to work harder and yet, the success is not guaranteed. The best you can do is to get an expired domain that has good backlinks. This may still speed up the growth of your website quickly.

Though rather advice you to focus on one blog and make it a source so that you can manage it.
Having traffic can be challenging but if you have good content and promote it vigorously then you can go beyond the sky

At least, to hasten the journey of blogging, we can be posting daily. And we must make sure that our articles can easily be optimized. This will give us ample opportunity to get ranked. Ranking as well will generate traffic if we were on trending topics.
