I used to sell clothes in college. It helped me to support my education in some way. I have seen a lot of people selling clothing online. I ordered a couple of clothes, and they are of decent quality. Do you believe it is still a lucrative business idea today, despite inflation?
 
I believe selling clothes can be profitable if you have a target market and a unique selling proposition. You need to do your research and find out which products are in demand and at what prices are they selling.
 
Cloth selling business is very profitable and lucrative expecially women clothing which is obviously in high demand all over the world. Again with the right location, great target Audience, good marketing channel, and all you'll surely make it big selling clothes.

In the western world, nowadays it is not so lucrative as it used to be until a few decades ago. Less and less people, including women, purchase new clothes, sticking with donations. Salaries of average people are small and the principal goods to purchase are food and drugs. In my case, I have a door-to-door thrift shop activity and I sell used clothes, in addition to other used items. My earnings from this activity are very small: in any way, having no expense (no physical shop and what I sell, it belonged to my grandmother, my mother and their best friends and sometimes it's my old stuff too), it doesn't bother me.
